Find of the Moment: Design Your… Wedding Shoes???

Milk & Honey Shoes

Really, who knew that you can now design your own shoes?  It makes a lot of sense – there is a growing trend of personalizing every aspect of the wedding, so why not shoes?  Today’s bride is not shy about her sense of style and is bold enough to use color and patterns in her wedding ensemble and sometimes it’s hard to find shoes that make just the right statement, in the right color, with the right heel and just the right embellishment.

Custom-designed shoes from Milk & Honey

Milk & Honey was started by two sisters with a passion for great shoes.  Thanks to Ilisa and Dorian Howard, it’s now easy to customize your shoes.  The choices are amazing – color, texture, straps, heels, toes, studs, and more – all aspects are customizable.  Because each pair is made by hand to your specifications, it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get your shoes.  What if they don’t fit?  The return policy is straight forward – “If you are unhappy with your shoes, for any reason, you can return or exchange them, unworn, within 30 days .”

If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area, Milk & Honey invites you to stop by their show room – all you need to do is to call ahead for an appointment.  We understand that you can even arrange for your bridal party to come in to order shoes together – now that sounds like a fun bridal party bonding experience. Milk & Honey even offers a vegan option – shoes that are made with non-leather materials.

So, go wild, try out the animal prints, trim with glitter and metallics or keep to a more elegant style in a patent leather pump.  Hmm… to strap or not to strap?  That is a good question.

Once you receive your personalized shoes from Milk & Honey, all you need is a pair of Diva Dilemmas High Heel Savers, but that’ a whole other blog.
